2.	Establishing livestock enterprises and businesses linked to livestock
3.	Leading and driving community development in the area of livestock or related sectors
4.	Educating, research and facilitating creative and innovative learning through  a sound knowledge  of animal science and using information and communication technology to keep abreast of developments in the global livestock sector
