Curriculum

Animal Husbandry Department is a merging from departments in Faculty of Agriculture. They are Livestock Production, Livestock Nutrition and Food, Livestock Technology, and Animal Husbandry Social Economy. The first batch of this department is batch 2009, so this department use 2009 curriculum that was the result of curriculum workshop in 4 December 2009. The workshop mainly discussed about changing compulsory and optional courses in Department into interest courses. Because of there are still students from Livestock Production, Livestock Nutrition and Food, Livestock Technology, and Animal Husbandry Social Economy Department,  the 2007 curriculum is still used until September 2013.

In 2012, a review on Animal Husbandry curriculum structure through Workshop on Institutional Development and Improvement of the Curriculum of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Diponegoro University that is conducted twice on 10-11 June 2011 abd 17-18 June 2011. To support this activity, an Impelementing Team with Leter of Assignment No. 1977/H7.3.5/DT/2011. After that, there is also Workshop on Institutional Development of Faculty of Animal Husbandry UNDIP on 7 December 2011 by presenting some parties, for example, delegations from Sebelas Maret University (UNS), Malang Muhamadiyah University and some private stakeholders.
