Semarang (12/10/2025) – The Bachelor of Animal Science Student Association, Faculty of Animal Science and Agricultural Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro (Indonesian: FPP UNDIP), successfully held the 2025 National Scientific Paper Competition (NSPC) for High School Students, under the slogan “Smart Innovation, Complete Food Self-Sufficiency.” This activity is a concrete step by FPP UNDIP in supporting the development of research and scientific enthusiasm among the younger generation towards achieving the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045.

The competition, organized by the Bachelor of Animal Science Student Association, FPP UNDIP, ran from July 20 to October 12, 2025, with several selection stages, from abstracts to full papers to the final round. Of the 116 registered participating teams from various regions across Indonesia, 109 teams passed the abstract selection, and 82 teams successfully submitted full papers. After a rigorous assessment process by a panel of judges comprised of FPP UNDIP lecturers, the top 10 teams were selected to advance to the final round.


The ten finalists come from:

  1. SMAS Al-Azhar Mandiri Palu, Sulawesi Tengah
  2. SMA Negeri 3 Solok, Sumatera Barat
  3. MA Negeri 1 Kudus
  4. SMA Negeri 2 Rembang
  5. SMA Ar-Rohmah Putri IIBS Campus 2 Malang
  6. MAN 1 Jombang
  7. SMA Al-Maahira IIBS Malang
  8. MA Matholi’ul Huda Troso, Jepara
  9. MAN Demak
  10. SMA Negeri 11 Semarang

 

The peak of the activity was held on October 10–12, 2025 at the Central Java Small and Medium Enterprises Cooperative Training Center (Indonesian : Balatkop dan UMKM) and campus of FPP UNDIP. The event was officially opened by the Dean of FPP UNDIP, Prof. Sugiharto, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., and filled with various interesting agendas such as presentations of scientific papers, campus tours, milk pasteurization demonstrations, visits to FPP barns, and inspirational seminars with Ir. Ignasius Hariyanta Nugraha, M.Si. (Secretary of the Department of Animal Husbandry and Animal Health of Central Java Province, also as Chairman of the Central Java ISPI) as speakers and Anugrah Robby Pratama, S.Pt., M.Pt. (Lecturer at FPP UNDIP) as moderator.

The final results of the competition were as follows:

  • Champion number 1: SMA Negeri 2 Rembang
  • Champion number 2: SMA Al-Maahira IIBS Malang
  • Champion number 3: SMA Ar-Rohmah Putri IIBS Campus 2 Malang
  • Best Poster: SMA Ar-Rohmah Putri IIBS Campus 2 Malang

 

In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Animal Science and Agricultural Sciences, Universitas Diponegoro, Prof. Sugiharto, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D., expressed his appreciation to all the finalists. “All those who have come as finalists are champions. They are all the nation’s best sons and daughters who must remain enthusiastic in welcoming Indonesia Emas 2045,” he said..

Through this activity, FPP UNDIP emphasized its role as a higher education institution that consistently supports the development of innovation and scientific work from an early age. Participants expressed positive impressions of this valuable experience, which not only broadened their scientific horizons but also fostered motivation to contribute to national food security.
