Friday, 10 February 2023, around 78 students of Mardi Putra Kindergarten seen happy to visit the Jurang Blimbing culture edutourism village in Tembalang, Semarang. They advise by 8 teacher and some parents. The students look enthusiastic to learn about “menggamel”, play “sondamanda” or “engklek” and close by producing “Onde-onde”. Some of the parents happy when their children introduce to the traditional music and food. “We happy when our children learn about food and music traditional, so they did not only know about youtube and burger” said Dewi Istiana one of the parents.
Jurang Blimbing is one of the culture villages start from 6 years ago, but start with educational tourism just end of the year 2022, support by KKN Thematic around campus of Universitas Diponegoro under advisee of Ir. Daud Samsudewa, S.Pt., M.Si., Ph.D., IPM, one of the lecturer Animal Science study program FAAS Undip. “We are really proud that our village not only known as culture village, but also as culture education tourism village “, said Slamet Suwardji, as head of the edutourism group of Jurang Blimbing kampong. “We give the big thanks to Universitas Diponegoro for the support for us, this is the second goup of tourist after KKN, and we will do the promotion to attract the tourist” he concluded.
