Thursday, 26 January 2023 is a happiness day for Dr. Istna Mangisah, S.Pt., M.P. and family, why not, long-waited day has come for them. Mrs. Istna Mangisah reach the doctoral degree on 3 years in Animal Science Doctoral Program of FAAS Universitas Diponegoro under advisee Prof. Ir. Vitus Dwi Yunianto Budi Ismadi, M.S., M.Sc., Ph.D., IPU. as a promotor, and the co-promotor Dr. Ir. Sri Sumarsih, S.Pt., M.P., IPU. dan Sugiharto, S.Pt., M.Sc., Ph.D. The dissertation entitled “Effectivity of Synbiotic and Betain for Improvement of Broiler Chicken Production maintained in high density.
The journey of Dr. Istna to finish her study was not without challenges, study permit status requires her still teaching as lecturer even as to be Head of Livestock Farming Business Study Program in Vocational School Universitas Diponegoro. However, Dr. Istna Success to finish her duty as Head of Study program on 2021, and also continue to carry out her duty as a lecturer “I still allocated Friday, sturday and Sunday to focus work for my dissertation even in laboratory up to midnight, What makes me able to do it? Yes, God always make me strong and also God give me parents that always teach me how to be struggle, my husband and children’s that always make me get through with the challenges” said her.
Besides that, start the research on May 2020 during Covid-19 pandemi limit the activity the used of laboratory around FAAS Universitas Diponegoro, huge data and the responsibility to publish 2 articles in international accredited journal was to be the the challenges. “I learn about struggle, I set the sample analysis to some laboratory in some universities” said her, “Besides that, I was learning about work with accuracy and patience for data analysis and read the literature that subscribe by Universitas Diponegoro” she added.
“For the young lecturer Untuk para dosen muda, as soon as possible finish your study in the best University abroad and do not waste your time to get the scholarship for your doctoral degree.” Said her, and “The key to be success and blessed by God is working hard and Ikhlas” She concluded. (DrD).
