Animal Science Study Program Diponegoro University Delegates Students in National Dialogue Activities Development of Pancasila Ideology

The Animal Science Study Program, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Diponegoro University on February 15^th, 2023 delegated student representatives from Classes of 2020 and 2021 in the NATIONAL DIALOGUE FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF PANCASILA IDEOLOGY with the theme “ROLE OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY AS THE FOUNDATION OF DEVELOPMENT GUIDELINES ON THE IDEOLOGY OF PANCASILA” which was held in the Student Activity Centre Building Faculty of Law, Diponegoro University. This National Dialogue activity was filled by very extraordinary speakers from the Office of the Pancasila Ideology Development Agency (Indonesian: Badan Pembinaan Ideologi Pancasila, BPIP). Lecture material is very important for the younger generation, considering that the ideology of Pancasila is our common foundation which is the guideline for the nation and state. This activity was given a warm welcome by Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H, M.Hum., as Rector of Diponegoro University which he delivered online.

The Student Delegation for the Bachelor of Animal Science Study Program consisted of Fakhirah Citra Ardianti and Orchida Jingga Aura Cinta from the class of 2021 representatives, Abdullah Maulana Fakih, Bagus Indramawan and Banu Rizqi Febianzani as representatives of the class of 2020. Based on the results of the activities that have been attended, it can be concluded that the application of science and technology must be based on Pancasila, so that it is more felt and beneficial to society. Pancasila is the ideological foundation of the Indonesian nation with the values of divinity, unity and social justice.

“We are very pleased to be able to meet students from all faculties at Diponegoro University and also get a lot of insight into Pancasila ideology,” said Bagus Indramawan. Furthermore, our hope is that all students, especially Diponegoro University students who will play the role of Social Control, Agent of Change, Iron Stock, Moral Force and Guardian of Value, can properly instill the Pancasila Ideology and serve as a guide for students in optimizing the role of the students themselves.
