The impact of the corona storm did not stop the activities of the strategic sector of providing poultry meat. In the process of providing it, halal slaughter is needed considering that the majority of Indonesians are 86.9% Muslim. The Poultry Production Laboratory, collaborate with JHTC (Central Java Halal Training Center) held Juleha ‘Juru Sembelih Halal’ (Halal Slaughterer) assistance on September 25-26, 2021 at the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences Undip which was assembled with coaching activities, training, competency test and Juleha certification. This activity also involved the Juleha Regional Leadership Council of Central Java Province and the Indonesian Animal Science Professional Certification Institute with participants from large companies such as PT. Charoen Pokphand Indonesia, PT. Japfa Comfeed to RPH and RPA on a small scale.

Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences Undip is one of the faculties that has the capacity to organize TUK (competency examination place) juleha certification. As presenters, among others, KH. Dr. KH. Ahmad Darodji, M.Si (Chairman of MUI Central Java), M. Shofa Mughtanim, S.HI, M.H. (Auditor of LP POM MUI Central Java), and Ir. Teysar Adi Sarjana, S.Pt., M.S.i, IPM. (Lecturer of Poultry Production Laboratory, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences Undip).  With the Juleha mentoring activities, it is hoped that it can increase public assurance and trust in the quality of poultry meat products produced and circulated in the community.
